Well 175W is pretty high for a mid range card but I am pretty sure ATI will take this down pretty fast so it can really become a mid range mid price gaming card. Nice to see some new product from ATI, now show us the next BIG BANG series:P

Hmmm... not sure if I am liking these leaked specs. I was looking to upgrade to the 5830 from a 5770 but I'm not sure if its worth the jump in price anymore.

Excellent. I'm still running a 4850 and I've been looking for an upgrade, if this card does indeed perform better than the 4890/260 216 and nVidia's new offerings does't blow my mind ... then this will be my new video card come spring when (hopefuly) a vapor-x version gets released.

I'll wait to see some results once the NDA is lifted to see if it'll be worth upgrading from the 5770.
I personally think it will be, but we'll wait and see

This may be good if price/performance is as good as the rumors. Lets hope so for the sake of my friend who needs to upgrade.

here is a review of the card (something like chinese review?)

景钛 HD5850(HD-585A-ZNB) 评测|显卡 评测|千元级DX11性能王!ATI镭5830全球首测试|IT168 显卡专区

seems decent, it's performing similarly to the gtx 275 and 4890, maybe a lil' better but drivers probably need some improvement i'dd think.

Nice find. Looks like its right around a 4890 somewhere. Wish they threw a 5770 in the mix as well. I guess it won't be too long until there are a ton of reviews of the 5830.
