Personally I am pretty sure USB 3 and Sata3 won't be that good until they are added to the chipset. Till this day it's just a Jmicron or realtek chip on a board. For sure we should start somewhere but there is a point thing are coming useless. Why don't we just take SATA 3 and make everything working on SATA 3 like Esata3 stick and kick all this firewire and USB thing out of the market, wont that be better a really universal port?

Looks good. I guess we'll have to wait for compatible USB3.0 HDD enclosures and such before we can really take advantage of these. Good to know I won't have to replace my motherboard to get one though!

my tough too. but at least the one who are afraid of the upgrade path of their board will relax a little bit.

Yup you are totally right. Maybe I should talk with GA rep to see if we can add them free with GA board at my shop that would be a killer argument to sell more pc:P

Ya but that will be a killer to the sell of their new board....he will not like it...

edit: they don't need an other tech in your shop... or a small local to rent ..... I'm feather up here. should see the last crap I get for repair.

I just ordered the Asus U3S6 from NCIX last night, it also adds Sata 6GB for like $35
