I'm interested in VGA cooling but not knowledgeable at all, yet. How exactly is the right angle aspect supposed to mount? Like a right-side up "L" or an up-side down "L", or is it either way depending on which PCI slot the GPU is mounted in?

Sufficient clearance is the determining factor, yes?

edit: A visit to the Thermalright site clears up one question, it is double sided, mounts either way.

In the picture both sizes of the base appear to be flat, and the same size. I "think" it should mount either to the left or right.
