We'll see how much the creditors snatch up of the $1.25B, but it's the new licensing agreements that will probably be more important in the long run. AMD hasn't been able to charge high premiums for their stuff lately, so not having to pay royalties will likely improve their profit/unit significantly. And as for Intel continuing to deny guilt, they've already been found guilty of some of it, nevermind this agreement specifically.
I have to wonder whether this will affect AMD testifying in the still-pending cases. If they don't testify, will that make it harder to get other charges to stick?
