I imagine (hope) that's just an illusion. I think it's still 2 slots.

Will we get single slot cards again? I still run an X800 GTO for that reason. Passive cooling on a single slot.

Heck, I would still get it if took up 3 slots (pretty sure it's only two though). My passively cooled 8600GT is already taking up 3 slots in my HTPC (I strapped on a silent scythe 80mm fan to keep it even cooler). I don't have any other cards installed since audio, firewire & Ethernet are all integrated.

Well, in a good vented HTPC like Lascala 17 or thing like that a tripple slot passive cooled Video card is nice. In other case, that simply suck IMO.
