I don't think they did. It is probably just an optical illusion.

Yay... let's push the heat back in, against the natural airflow direction of most cases... :blarg: Dumba**es.

Apparently they assume you blow everything out the front of your computer....

My friend if you're forgetting, lots of aftermark gpu cooler like Xigmatek, Thermalright stuff.. also blow circulate air inside the case.. and they do relatively good.. I understand your point, but you gotta understand.. these 5800 series not only do they consume less power, but they also manage to be heat efficient..

But I understand your point, if you want go have a battle with Sapphire, bet you can't..

IMO, the core on the card doesn't produce enough heat to be a worry. In addition, it looks to me like the heatsink is designed to exhaust air in every direction.

I'll let you guys know what happens, I have one sitting at my UPS Store.

Any idea when you may have that review up? I just built a new PC and this card will be the final part I need to make it complete and a 100% new PC. My current 4890 is chugging along in there right now, unaware I am going to sell him to some gypsies when his big brother arrives.
