Honestly, I think the Hydra chip in this board is more important than the THX onboard audio.

Lucid has yet to get their software running properly so I am guessing MSI is shying away from any claims in that area.

Yeah I agree. Not many people buy a board for it's sound quality, but if hydra in fact works that is a HUGE selling point.

IMO, they should have put the Hydra on an X58 board.

I'm looking forward to the Hydra chip. Seems like this is the way parallel workload balance should have been. Give it another year and it'll replace many of the SLI and Crossfire profiles.

If that board is half what it's claiming to be, it will get me to upgrade to i5/i7.
