Supposedly the laptop weighs in at 13lbs. With that weight, it can easily be used as a self defense weapon as well..

Good god that 15" laptop literally weighs 2x as much as mine does, lol. I'm not really crazy about the alienware brand anyways. If I wanted a serious gaming laptop, I'd probably buy a Sager.

I think my whole rig weighs about 15 or 16 lbs tops. and I water cool it.

Ill stick with mine for a hell of alot less. Do you really need an i7 in a laptop? seems like alot of heat and power consumption to be of much use for the average person.

I've yet to bog down my 2.9GHZ dual core =)

There is always a niche market, albeit a very small one for a portable with that kind of power. I could put one of those to good use for HD video sessions in the field, for instance.

I'd have to sell my truck, but...
