Seems like it. Probably has to do with the IDF and their upcoming SoC.

I hate Intel. They make great processors and everything but sooner or later, they're going to make AMD go bankrupt and they'll have a monopoly in the X86 market.

The LGA 1156 cpu really put the nail in the coffin for the phenom cpu's.

It's a cheaper platform and performs much better.

Only thing AMD has going for it is 790FX chipset can do 16x 16x for VGA's where as P55 does 8x 8x only. Intel also has x58 still too, which can do x16 x16. Theirs basically no reason to go AMD now unfortunatley. AMD better release though's bulldozer chips, like right now; or they mind as well abandon ship and pour all their engineers and time into ATI and try to put the smack down on NVIDIA even more.
