Default Radeon HD 5850 Pictured

Quote:
Rumored pictures have popped up of ATI's DX11 Radeon HD 5850, or at least a variant of it. From what we can see, there's an incredibly long PCB for a single-GPU accelerator, an elaborate monolithic cooler, and a single 6-pin power connector. (Read more)

You can tell we're going to be paying a premium for the new cards. Expensive coolers don't grow on trees.

It's photoshopped. However, I won't be surprised if the actual product looks like that.

*thinks back to ATI 3850 and 4850*

I was really hoping for something shorter.. Maybe one of the sub vendors will make one.

And yes, quite rendered looking.

I hate to admit it, but I have to agree with Linus! We are going to be paying a hell of a lot of our hard earned cash for DX11 cards!

Both are obvious renders in my mind. They did a better job on the first but still noticable. Get me a close up of the actual gpu with all the righting and the cameramans reflection on it then ill believe it.
