Weird, they're clearly aiming these at the 1156 socket boards, since they're only dual-channel, whereas I'd expect the people who put down the cash for these things to be more likely to own an x58 chipset. I don't recall seeing any suggestions that these dual-channel boards would be more tolerant of higher memory speeds. Anyone else hear different?

Supposedly the 1156 boards have very few problems running this high of a frequency of RAM. Perhaps the old memory interface is better for higher speeds?

Hm, not that long ago I had never heard of A-Data, now I that's what I'm using, and apparently what is the fastest on the market!

look into a-data 2nd largest in the world for memory ( waiting on 2 x a-data ssd right now) great stuff and cheap
