I am really eagerly awaiting USB 3.0, I'm getting bored of it taking so long to transfer large amounts of files of my camera, usb drives, etc...

and yeah, naming something a speed is just rediculous because no matter what it will be slow relatively in a few years

isnt sata 3 coming out soon as well?

Thanks to OP and above poster for this delightful news...
Will be a change to see USB not being a bottleneck in transfers when one needs to get out the door asap... :-)

No way guys, next speed classification will definitely be "Ludicrous Speed". The next one after that will be "HOLY SHIT! Speed".

I dunno about the one after "Ludicrous Speed", remember how PC everyone in commercial industry has to be.
