Default Intel Drops Prices (except Core i7)

According to TechSpot, Intel dropped prices on most of their cpus today.

Hopefully we consumers will see the price break show up soon.

Yep, looks like they want to phase in their iNumber series more and slowly phase out the core 2 series

heh, again with the price drop on outdated cpus

More and more people are going AM3 there selling like hot cakes.

Wonder if AMD is going to respond by having a price drop...Intel CPUs just got more competitive now.

Hah, I just realized after a few years of upgrading that there wasn't any point to it. I'd buy something new, then a few months later the price would be cut in half, while better stuff started hitting the market. Besides, I only use my computer for music, so my processor is still kind of overkill.
