The article was from February. And the GTS240 never saw the light of day.

Way to jack
and i would LOVE TO know which of those hybrid cars can do 90 MPG or 2.61L/100KM Is that even possible with the cars in Canada? i think NOT, even the toyota corolla fail the safety test by a few inches

Back on topic

As for the hybrid power 9800gt series, i think they only work with a few of the nvidia 9series chipset boards, and now the newer gtx 2xx have the 2d and downclock while not in use to save power.

90mpg metric. In my Dad's Insight I've managed to get over 84mpg US from London to southern ohio. 78.6mpg on the whole trip to Raleigh, NC. Mountains killed the mileage. 2006 Insight btw. First gen Insight = most efficient mass produced car so far.

9800GT Green series...yeah right! How "Green" can a video card get? So it uses a bit less energy than its normal version. Computers don't use that much energy to start out with. That's of course reserving those folding farms or overkill rigs with 4xGTX295, Dual/Quad socket watercooled overhauled 1500W PSU-Packin' machines.

How much did that Insight cost? Was it brand-new or used?

Used for about a year when he bought it, around 19k I think, hell of a deal

And yeah I doubt these cards use much less than normal.
