I dunno why they even considered the whole "4890" or "4950" or "4970" story to be a RUMOR in the first place. ATI had gained the price/performance ratio crown with pretty much all the RV775 cards, and the straight-up performance crown with the 4870X2. Now, Nvidia (having revamped their 65nm GPU's to 55nm GPU's) is now beating ATI at their own game, stealing the performance crown right off ATI's head with the GTX295. Obviously ATI being the major GPU producers they are will now throw new chips on the table in order to compete in the very competitive market they reside in. Pardon my French, but No SH*T SHERLOCK!

^^...So?.... =D

And 1 more thing while I'm at it that I forgot to say in the previous post I made...I am SO sick of just seeing a bunch of GPU-Z/3Dmark screens! Damn, stop re-posting the same stats/screens and wait for some actual pictures of the card come out so that you don't build up vast amounts of useless hype!

I see a lot of CPU bottlenecks in those tests. The difference between some of those resolutions are very miniscule. Perhaps we should take SKYMTL's ninja hint more seriously hehehe. If these numbers are true, I am very happy of what the 4890 can actually do.

HAHAHA 5ILVgeARX nice avatar .
