Default It's finally here. Apple releases dual-socket Nehalem Mac Pro.

Apple - Mac Pro - The fastest and most powerful Mac ever.

Very happy to finally see a dual-processor Nehalem product on the market. Only a few more weeks, and then we can finally buy those precious dual-socket mobos ourselves.

It's pretty but ya, would only use one if work bought it. And they just might! My G5 dual 2.5GHz is nearing 5 years old.

Hahahaha 3200 american for that POS?

I love the look but Apple is out to lunch; they've got people brainwashed.. "Most powerful Mac ever" and it still can't touch a PC.

Considering this is the only Gainestown machine available anywhere, no there is no PC that can touch it.

I love my Apple, but I am not happy with the choices they used for the CPUs. Seriously only 2.26GHz for the base processors?

Gainstown is just the Xeon side of i7; as usually it does not offer a performance increase.
