Yeah, I got to say, I'm over the whole "WUT A FAN WIF LITES? YESH", I prefer a slick setup that doesn't blind your eyes. But still, what I would kill for a black Noctua fan, but that's but a dream!

The only reason i would like lites is because im not into the whole Black light mirage. I am using the Cosmos S and it would be hella cool if the 6 fans attached on my rad on the top grill had some light coming of them i think it would be a sweet effect and you would be able to see right thru the case but im just saying that as a wild dream.

And coming from Antec Tri-cools i know exactly what you mean but you cant really compare the two as the Antec is made for pushing a lot of air and their silence is turning the fan all the way down. So we cant really compare the two but lol i could imagine if i was running 6 tri cools on my triple-rad instead of these Noctua's i would be verrry verry annoyed.

Anyways call me a Noctua fan boy i dont mind they done good by me and i would definetely recommend them when their on sale.

True, true, even I have to admit in certain cases with the right grill can look pretty decent (always liked the look of a tight grill with nice bright orange fans), but when it comes to lighting everything up, I find it ridiculous, and at times, ugly.

I don't mind noctua's colours. Now, how much of a difference would i see in running a tri-cool at low vs. noctua p12 ? I mean in airflow mainly. I understand that the noise is a whole lot better

At low RPM they push very little air major difference would be static pressure if they were on your heatsink your temps would rise considerably

Okay the Tri-cool 120 @1200RPM will be pushing approx. 39 CFM while NF-P12 @1300 RPM it would be push approx. 54.7CFM

What I would really like to see is a 2000rpm NF-P12 just to see how it sounds.

Yep little air gets pushed at the lowest setting it stops sound but that's Antec's Tri-cool for yea. You can feel the difference just by putting yer hand over the fan at the lowest Setting the Antec Tri-cools have a slight brush on yer hand of flowing air, where as the Noctua's the opposite.

Noctua's @ 1300 runnin 6 of them its very little/ no sound depending on how you set it up because certain places you might get a vibration depending.

And Eagle you got it buddy i too am looking for a 2000 rpm one as well, I think thats basically a good level where we can get the most out of the fan and im sure with new technology they can make it quieter at that level.

Yeah, its getting to be a 50/50 split from what I've seen of clear side vs. Non-clear side.
I guess I love the hypnotic blue too much for my own good...but for a lot of people colour makes the difference.

Again, to each there own..

I have done reviews for Noctua products. Quite nice products....although I think that they need to start offering products in different colors.
