But back on point. WTH does a case have to do with gaming performance. shesh
Good cooling could have a huge effect on the ability to overclock your vid card, but again, that's more "enthusiast" than it is "gamer".

Haha don't try reaching so far sswilson you'll dislocate your shoulder. Cooler Master's advertising team is already filled an entire hospital ward of spaghetti armed victims with their latest advertising. But I do see your underlying point and I jest in fun.

At least Coolermaster believes PC gaming is worth pumping lots of marketing dollars into. Not that I'd buy that case lol.

I agree with sswilson's point on the enthusiast market. If that case enaberif linked to has excellent cooling and solid wire management I will take a look at it as long that I don't have to pay for the 'gaming' promo that goes along with it. The fact that it has leds and such does not appeal to me, but I do appreciate the ability to turn off the leds.

On the notion of cooling, this entire case is meshed...not counting dust issues which I can deal with, will the cooling be much better? I always thought that proper airflow was the most important part of case cooling, and would the mesh actually impact proper airflow? Just wondering

It looks great (considered one myself when they first came out) but a quick search through any of the enthusiast websites will garner full pages of comments like "it looks great, but OMG the wire management sucks......" :)

Leaving the marketing hype aside though, it looks like coolermaster is one of the companies who are willing to listen to constructive critisism. A quick look at the evolution of the cosmos series and the more bargain minded HAF seems to indicate that they are trying to incorporate the things enthusiasts are asking for.
I have to agree with Steve for what he has to say for CM. They DO care for enthusiasts. Starting from the CM Stacker series, man o man, did they build it on it, now to the HAF 932, honestly they might be very minimal flaws to it, it's a very well built case, why because they looked back on their previous chassis to where to messed up the designs, and had a look at comments from different customers.

That looks extremely massive for a LAN case...I don't think I'd ever buy that to haul around for LANs. I'm actually considering selling my P182 for a smaller case, since I don't need all the features it has, yet I do have some hardware that gets fairly hot. I think the minimalist approach with some lighting (what gamers want, I guess, not me), and a cooling solution like the 900 or HAF is where it's at. All this hype is killing me.

My general rule of thumb that I go by is KISS. I'm sure all of you know what that means...

You would be surprised what the extra oxygen in the air being at sea level will do for your drinking abilities....
