My System Specs

Default Antec releases the Sonata III

They've upgraded this very popular case with better styling, contruction, noise suppression, PSU, among other things- of course the price will be upgraded too, placing it in the same bracket as the p182- although the PSU included cases aim for a different audience. Here they are for 149.50 at NCIX

The third chapter in the Quiet Computing™ story written by Antec—it’s everything you’ve come to expect from the prestigious Sonata line with even more upgrades and improvements. The Sonata III is whisper quiet when it comes to system noise while with the new High Definition front audio ports the sound you want your system to make will be crystal clear. And the front eSATA connector allows for simple data transfer. It’s all powered by EarthWatts 500 Watt power supply unit (PSU) which is equipped with universal input and Active PFC. This PSU is also 80PLUS® certified making it one of the most efficient PSU’s available. And all that means the Sonata III is the perfect combination of style, silence and efficiency.

From Antec

It looks nice but it doesn't worth all that money. With 140cad you could buy an Antec P180 or P182 even from dc..

I've always liked the Sonata line, very sleek and quiet cases. Glad to see they have a new version out

All they did was give the Sonata II a facelift and add a new PSU. The internal space is the EXACT same.

there are a few more things than that although.. of course it isn't a complete change- I guess if it was then it wouldn't be a Sonata. There's some little things like eSATA, HDA & AC’97 Audio In/Out ports, vibration proof grommets for mounting- but you're right, it's not a revolution, and some might not think it's worth the extra 35 bucks. But then again, most people around here wouldn't buy a case with PSU included for their primary rig.

Not gonna bother as nice as it is I'd rather get the new p18x case.

$140 is too much for a cheap case and crappy power supply.
