Oh it's real...it's just on a different continent lol. It was in the IEEE Spectrum I received yesterday. That spectrum is amazing...

Kinda reminds me of those false conventions/meetings where they trick tourists and foreigners. They kill the lights, pay off police, mass kidnap everyone, and harvest their organs for sale. I read it in a National Geographic article about a HK businessman losing a couple of his organ and lives to tell the tale. This isn't a spambot?

I think we need to define "spambot" to offer a reasonable answer to that..... :)

Do I think it was auto generated in the same manner as everybody's favorite overseas spam postings???? Yeah, I do. :)

That said, it was initially posted to the appropriate threads (networking & mobile computing), and does appear to be legit. Whether or not it's of any interest to folks on this continent will be left up to HWC members. :)
