I wonder, the article said that this could jump chips from giga+ I wonder, tera or above? Getting a prototype chip working based on these, even if it costs millions to make and run just to see what it could really do. And hey, after its built just think how much it could fold.

The Isreali part of Intel had already made a processor that passed the bits through light transmission. It was a audio processor that came out of their R and D sections that made steps in spy work ( bouncing a laser off of glass to interpret vibrations )\
It was a step in solving the bandwidth requirements of todays apps. Blue lasers over red ones ( DVD's )


A optical processor NO heat created, no super cooling needed
