I think they will make an x58, likely already in development. Theyve gotta do it to try and take more of evgas market share and make some money.

I think so too, I've been very curious because obviously both XFX and EVGa used Nvidia reference designs mostly. So I am very curious to see the directions these two former nvidia vendors take with their respective X58 offerings.

looks like that mobo is no good for the gamers (one pci-e slot) what the hell are they thinking

XFX better be making one for the gamers real soon

Obviously this isn't a gamer choice of board. Looks like it's based on the G31 chipset from Intel, and looks like it's going to be meant for value than anything else.

Of course XFX would have something for X58. I have no doubt in my mind that they are working on a mobo for X58. I'm sure that since EVGA has one, XFX will too.

It would be good for a cheap folding rig, with an E5200 or E2xxx series or hell even a E1200 or E1400 with a 9600GSO.

Does anyone know when XFX plans on releasing this motherboard? I'm planning on building a mATX computer next year (unless the dollar falls even more...).

It would be nice if XFX makes some decent motherboards that way they could make combo's i like XFX so hopefully by the time i got I7 hopefully they have some decent boards.
