Default New DDR3 Memory Frequency World Record

User over@locker886 on the XtremeSystems forums has achieved a new DDR3 world record by reaching 2682Mhz CL9-9-9-34 on his single 1GB Kingmax DDR3-1333 module.

Yeah, although they don't deserve any of the credit.

This is simply a result of good chips (Micron D9JNM), persistance (many, many sticks), and obviously some luck & skill

We should also be seeing a new DDR2 WR soon enough using A-DATA modules, somewhere in the dual-channel DDR2-1500 range.

Don't forget, the previous world record from Corsair was achieved in much the same way. IMO, Kingmax deserves as much credit for the WR as Corsair received when they smashed it.
