No matter what computer I plug it in, when I press the power button, everything would turn on for about half a second, the fans would spin, LEDs would come on, but then it would stop. I'd have to unplug the PSU from the wall and then plug it back in before it gets any more power.

Your psu protections seems to get on (probably the short circuit protection). Since you have tested it on another board and it do the same thing, it's probably an internal problem. If your psu is still under warranty, you will need to get on RMA or to buy another one if warranty period is finished.

What model of psu you have?

I already have another PSU. Its just I want that one fixed so I have an extra one around.

The PSU is the Antec Quattro 800W.

EDIT: My bad, it was the Antec TRUEPOWER \Quattro 850W.

It sounds like something was shorted on your mobo and in turn cooked your PSU. Double check your case and make sure when you get your new mobo that nothing (including standoffs) is sticking up from the mount plate and causing another short.
