My System Specs

Default Ultra x-finity?

Hi there, I wanted to know what you guys think of the ultra x-finity PSU's, Mainly this one:

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...309&CatId=1483

I already ordered it but thats because when i had first check it it was on a huge sale, i phoned up to make sure there wasnt somethign wrong and apperently thier supplier had sent them way to many so i managed to grab one for $55 1 hour later the price doubled on them so i was pleased.

Would you guys trust this psu to run just an average gaming computer and mabey a 8800gts?

That is a pretty good all-round budget power supply and it shoudl power a single 8800GTS without a problem. It is an OK performer but at this price, its performance is nowhere near that of a Corsair HX620 or even GameXstream 600W. Then again, it is much cheaper than those two power supplies.Personally, for $55 I think you made a great purchase.

I buddy of mine is running the same 600 Watt X-Finity in his system and he hasn't had a single problem, the FlexForce® cables are quite easy to bend and help a lot with cable managment. He is running an Athlon64 3500+ Dual 7600GTs 1GB of Muskin PC3200, WD 250GB SATAII drive, 16X DVD-ROM & DVD±RW and and two CCFLs and 2 120mm and 1 80mm case fans.
