Would be nice to hear some experiences with Corsair refurbs in the long run though. Could save me some few bucks for some builds.

Bought 2 x TX650 and 2 x TX750 refurbs from that black friday sale. Running with no issues. One had a broken SATA molex so I just taped it up to prevent shorting.
I'm actually going to be picking up 2 x HX650 refurbs tonight. My colleague bought 2 during black friday and he says no fan chirping on his units.

I've been running a couple of refurb CX500s I bought for $35 back in the fall. No problems so far.

Going cheap on a psu is like putting 1,000,000 Crystal on a 10c shelf. Im looking to get a Silverstone 1500watt or Enermax maxrevo 1500watt incase this Evga goes supernova on me.

Sometimes. If you buy a open box or refurb sometimes you rma and get a brand new product. Unlike Evga I just found out if my supernova goes KAAAABOOOOOOMMMM ill only get a refurb. What good is a 10 yr warrenty if it only gets me refurbs? Bahh my re-entry into ultra highend is a rough one.
