Default Modular EPS12v cable?

anyone know if there's modular EPS12v cables available for a Corsair HX series psu?

I just got my hands on an Asus Z7S WS with a pair of Quads onboard and 16gb ram. I'm thinking of swapping it out with my Phenom X4 but I would need a second EPS connector.....that or I suppose I could sell the stuff

Your sentence doesn't make much sense but do you mean something like this?

Works 6 Pin PCI-E Male to 8 Pin EPS Female Cable Adapter 12IN

Lowfat, that would work.

the corsair kit would work as well I suppose. I like the PCI-e adapter idea better since it's a slightly more universal option. I suppose I could just make my own adapter too if universal is what i'm looking for

If you have the crimping tools and connectors then go ahead. It could be make in a couple of minutes.

I was thinking of just cutting a 4/8 pin connector off a power supply and soldering it to 6pin female scavenged from a dead videocard. I really only need a 4pin, but might as well make an 8pin capable adapter for flexibility down the road

if you get the 850W psu, it'll come with an extra EPS cable you can plug into the modular plug on the back of the psu.
