^ A good psu goes along way.

Speaking of a psu going along way. I heard from Xnine last night. My PSU and the damaged components are now on their way to NZXT engineers in Taiwan. Quite the trip. Newfoundland to Cali and now to Taiwan.

Which means probably another 2 weeks of starting BF3 on your back-up only to remember it won't play.. :P + :(

But at least they are doing something and keeping you in the loop about it

Yeah I realized that too. It makes me a sad panda that it may still take a long time. Who knows though. They must of been able to see that it was damaged. The smell alone should be enough to know that the PSU blew so who knows. Plus you can peer thru the casing to see some damaged components within the psu. I've got my fingers crossed that this may get resolved for me before they actually pinpoint exactly why it blew. Its not like I was using it in the bathtub when it popped or anything. I turned on the computer and bang-kerplosion. WHY it blew shouldn't affect the resolution imo but I do understand why the engineers want to pick it apart.

I'm regretting having sent off my cpu. I could have grabbed one of the cheap 1155 boards that have popped up on here recently to test it and use it while I wait. My guess is that the cpu is fine if the ram and other components made it out alive. GPU and Mobo are definitely toast though.

Alas given the resolution that they are willing to take it is gonna have to be one of those things that will take a bit, but I am sure NZXT will help you.

As for cases, well, we have some plans for this year. That's all I can say about that. So for those who aren't too into the Phantom look, you may have something else to choose from fairly soon...

And this is not only going to our engineers, but to SF's engineers as well once we're done with it. I have a feeling there's going to be some fingers cut off. That's how they do it in Asia. Dishonor? Fingers on a necklace!

Good to hear about some new cases.

Please for the everything that is holy...PLEASE continue to make the top ports 15mm and 20mm spacing compatible on your new up coming cases. Too many are doing either /or and its a sad state of the industry right now.

Nice to hear on the cases.. have to say I love the phantom for it's features but it just looks... like one of the new cylon from BG. Not what I'm looking for.

I actually love my Phantom 820. A few years ago, I thought the Phantom was a pretty sweet case, never bought it though (a friend did and we tinkered with it). The new 820 is just sleek and aggressive at the same time.

I'm actually a HUGE fan of Lian Li, Silverstone, Abee, and even the two new InWin cases (D and H frames). I'm enthusiast, and so any time I see a great design, I always want to tinker with it, mod it, and hold it like a a beautiful child.

At any rate, yes, our future cases that are made for Watercooling will continue to support the 15mm and 20mm spacings, but I have a feeling 20mm will be dead soon. More and more rads are going the 15mm route.

Now if only the industry would kill off that damnable molex 4 pin connector. If there's one thing that makes me want to cuss at it, it's those molex connectors.

Good to know we have more in the future to look forward to.
I'd really like to know why NZXT Switched OEMS for the V2 of the Hale 90. I was going to get one, but you chose a OEM that I .....don't quite like. Superflower IMO is a much better OEM Than FSP, even if you guys get a better platform than the Aurum.

I do agree with wanting Molex dead. It needs to die, its cumbersome.

And, for cases you guys are doing good, I just wish you had a more portable friendly version like the Scout 2 from CM. That was my latest case because none of NZXT's stable fit the bill.
Hopefully we have a good 2013 with your hardware.
