This will be (unfortunately) the last time you see this particular setup in a power supply review since shortly after these tests were conducted, this test system met an untimely end at the hands of the computer gods. So long old friend. :(
What happened? Did you have a PSU kill the hardware?
James

Nvidia indicated that they will be working with their OEMs to send adapters for 9800X2 purchasers. A Corsair rep on NCIX's 620HX forum posted that you can cut of the offending clips and it will not void your corsair warranty.

No. The motherboard finally decided enough was enough. I bought another one used since i use that system for my basic "everything" system and I like the performance the X2 2800+ gives me. The only review that wil still be done with that one are the GPU cooler reviews since it is the only system I actually have in a case.

That chart really surprises me, that the Silvertsone DA850 is 200w more efficient!

No no, you read it wrong. The silverstone is only a 850W PSU. If you look at the Yellow bars, the System Stress, the Silverstone is actually 30W less efficient.

Bingo. That is because the Extreme Load test was not run on the DA850

I picked up one of these units for my new build, works great so far. Big, quiet, and runs cool.
