what power supply?
 
I need a new power supply
i have:
an
intel i5 2500k
8gb ram (dual channel)
a
samsung 1tb 5600rpm hdd
and
a
Nvidia gtx560 ti superclocked

what power supply shall i use (watts)

I will say a quality 550-650watts should be more than enough for that build. But I will go for the 650watts just for more headroom.

Quality 500w bare minimum if you don't think you will do OCing. I would go for something (as mentioned above) 550-650w so there is lots of headroom. Grab a seasonic, corsair, xfx, or most antecs.

I recommend you go for a different brand. Most people on this site will agree that CM PSU are not the greatest.

Damn you beat me to the chase, but yes as Bond says I can verify that going a CM branded PSU is not a good idea.

Not all of them are bad though! But yeah, in general I'd too would avoid CM PSU's.

Definitely prefer Corsair and Seasonic with Antec close behind. I typically use Antec EarthWatts in more value-minded builds.

+1 for corsair... have been using AX850 and AX1200.. quiet and very stable.

Corsair are good. I have the TX650M and nary and issue, I also Have the HX1000W again no issues. I recommend.
