Enough Power?

Just curious if a corsair TX750w will be enough to power crossfire 7850's and an overclocked i7-3820 with an ASUS Rampage IV motherboard. I will be having two hard drives one 640WD black and 1 120gb SSD. I will wait to see the final power specs of the 7850's but curious to see if other people are running crossfire/SLI setups off a 750w PSU.

Had this discussion on another forum.

a heavily overclocked i7 3960X with 2 overclocked 7970 will chew approx 680w at very hard loads, so 2 7950 and the rest of said system should be able to be fed fine off a decent to good quality 750 without issue.

Just on wattage
7970=250w(is well within this range even when overclocking)
CPU=130watt as long as you dont overclock to high heaven
system=60watt or so

690watt with very heavy load/overclock which simple numbers is approx
57amps off of 12v and I believe it would not be that high to be honest.

So, you should be A ok :)
