dual 570 classifieds.

i have asked this before, but i didn't come to a satisfying conclusion. In my rig now, i have a 2500k and a 570 classified. (if you need the rest of the specs, look on the right) i was wondering if my chieftec 750w would stand up to the load under heavy use? Or atleast temporarily so i can scrape up a few more dimes and eventually buy a new one (Like an XFX 850w)? all responses are appreciated :)

You should be fine on a quality 750W PSU, though I'm not overly familiar with Chieftec. I can say from personal experience that an XFX 850W PSU can easily handle 2 570s and a 2600k overclocked heavily.

Thanks, i might just use my 750w for as while and get a new one. That is ofcourse, if my current one will do it.

The classifieds are highly clocked, and therefore consume a lot more power. I wouldn't run it on that PSU you have now just out of personal preference.
Afterall if you have the coin for those cards its best served with a PRoper PSU that won't kill them.

OK, i will bow for your wisdom. XFX 850/corsair 1050 it is! :) You don't happen to know sorta the quality of the corsair 1050 do you?

Generally corsair = very good quality. I would buy a corsair PSU over any other, but that's just brand loyalty.
