My System Specs

Default 6 Pin PCIe to 8 Pin EPS adapter

So I need another 8 Pin eps connector and was wondering if this adapter would allow me to turn a 6 pin PCie to 8 pin EPS. The picture looks like what I want, but the description of which end is male/female doesn't coincide with the picture. Anyone use these types of adapters before? Will it work?

Thanks for the replies. I picked up a enermax platimax psu thinking it was single rail, but it was not. (Guess i didnt read the instructions) So I don't have enough current on the native eps connector to use a splitter to get a second eps. So hopefully I can convert a pcie to eps.

If you have an extra 8pin EPS connector you really could just use two staples to pull the 6pin and put them in the 8pin EPS (in the correct place obviously). I did this w/ one of my SR-2s and it worked perfectly.
