ANTEC 850W - Question Alright, kinda upset with myself for not looking first but don't know how many times I've ever seen this either. The 4 (or 8 pin connector for the top of the motherboard, sorry I forget exact name of that part at the moment), is usually in :: or :::: format... and most of the PSU's I own are Corsair and I can choose whether its :: or :::: Well this PSU has :::: and no way to seperate it lol so won't work on the MOBO I have that only needs :: Is there some sort of adapter we can buy to convert the :::: into ::? Sorry if this is confusing. At work so trying to type fast. |

Tried but there's a couple stupid parts on the mobo that won't let it fit properly (can't push it down to click) Dang it! |
You can use a 4-pin extension, it will plug into your 8-pin on the PSU and into the 4-pin on the mobo. NCIX.com - Buy Bitfenix Alchemy Premium Sleeved 4PIN Male to Female Intel ATX Power Extension Cable Black 45CM - BitFenix - BFA-MSC-4ATX45KK-RP - in Canada |

Most 850w PSU come with two 8-pin CPU connectors one of which splits in two, I'm surprised your Antec dosn't. Which Antec model is the PSU... |
