My System Specs

Default PSU for GTX 480 SLI
I plan to SLI my GTX 480.

I have a Corsair Professional HX750W Power Supply.

Is this enough?

Computer:
2600k
16gb ddr3 1600
Asus P8Z68 Deluxe
Pioneer DVR-219LBK DVD Writer
Agility 3 120gb
WD 3TB

You probably can get away with it (you will probably be right on the border), considering how powerhungry 480's are I would be more comforable with an 850-950 model.

Is the going with a corsair 850 alittle dangerous also? Or would that be fine.

You should be fine with the 850. I would be more than comfortable running that in there than a 750.
But if you want to put even less stress on your PSU, corsair has the HX1050 out now. Its always a good investment to get a Corsair PSU.

I would say you would not be able to pull this off as my 580s overclocked with a i7 940 overclocked could easily consume 850-900W at extreme full loading. I'd recommend going for a 1kW power supply if you really want to sli these legacy guys.
