Seasonic X-560 enough to power 560CU Ti & i5 2500?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light if the Seasonic X-560 PSU can power my following setup:


Silverstone Fortress FT02B
Mushkin Enhanced Blackline Frostbyte PC3-12800 8GB 2X4GB DDR3
Intel 510 Series 120GB SSD
ASUS P8P67 Pro REV3.0 ATX P67
Noctua NH-U12P SE2
Intel Core i5 2500 Quad Core Processor
ASUS GeForce GTX 560 Ti DirectCU II Fermi

If not, could someone recommend me a silent PSU? Perhaps the Corsair AX series?

My goal is aiming for a silent/quiet PSU.. but if there's an equivalent out there with a better value.. please let me know!

The x560 (I have one) is quite excellent. It is both cool and quiet. Yes it isn't cheap by far, but I think the quality it brings to the table is simply exceptional. I'm probably going to try to push the limits of my own with a i5 760 + GTX 460 768mb SLi soon.

not sure. at desktop it will probably run fanless,on gpu load the fan will kick in sightly :)

FYI you're throwing money into the wind with a P67 mobo and non-K processor. May as well grab an H67 if you don't plan on overclocking.

BTW, a P67 MB let you OC a non-K Sandy x4 multi more than Turbo-boost.

Would the ASUS P8H67-M Evo or the ASUS P8H67-I Deluxe be a better mobo for the i5 2500 non-k processor? You are correct.. I don't really plan on OCing.. but get a better PSU? I thought the X-series was up there in terms of quietness and performance?

Why are you wasting money on high end gimped motherboards if you don't plan on OCing? There's absolutely no point unless there's some extremely vital feature you need. It's almost like buying a Ferrari, putting in an engine from a civic and never taking it over 60.
