Good PSU?

I'm wondering if an antec bp550 would be suitable for gaming on my PC and I'm also looking into folding.
My specs are:

Intel core i5-750
Radeon 5830
8gb samsung DDR3 RAM 4x2GB
1.5TB hard drive
Optical drive

Possibly adding an Asus Xonar in later.

Will it be enough?

For that build you can get almost any 500W PSU on the market. Stick to brands that are known for good PSU and you'll be in good hands. My choices would be Seasonic, Silverstone or Corsair.

Thanks just wanted to be sure. Main issue was price and I couldn't find much around that price, I also heard antec is a fairly reliable brand. Out of curiosity are there any others around the same price you would also consider before this one? What about the antec high Current gamer 520w? It was similar in price (only a few dollars cheaper) but no modular cables.

look for a small vattage seasonic built one,400 of real watts :)

Would it also be able to handle ocing GPU and CPU? I'll probably be maxing the gpu oc if possible and I might look into minor oc of the CPU.

Antec BP550 Plus is a Delta but TBH I'd prefer the Seasonic from Antec HCG520. Or the Seasonic from Corsair TX650 V2.
Here both HCG and TX are roughly at the same price with BP550.

That corsair is a tad expensive for my budget so I probably wouldn't get that one. Is there a particular reason why you 'would prefer the hgc520 over the bp550?
I wish power supplies were exactly what they are advertised as instead of being so confusing because of overrating and whatever... It would make choosing one far easier.

Not a major problem if you want to get the Antec BP550 and a 500W can pretty much handle any CPU and mid range GPU with overclock no problem. You could also try looking for the Silverstone Strider Essentials 500W as well.
