FSP was known for their cheap and cheerful PSUs. I'm not surprised to see it translate into a Coolermaster PSU, since they're not known for their exquisite quality...

grab yourself a corsair, can never go wrong with those, also make sure its 80+ on the box before you buy it.

My CM 800w Gold unit has crapped out. The RMA service is really odd. I picked up another unit to use during the RMA proccess (I did not pick up another CM).
I would not purchase another unit from CM unless it is for a low end PC.
I post again if any issues with the RMA.

Also avoid Roswell PSU's. I know of a few people that these PSU's have fried new builds. I wouldn't recommend them at all!!!

A local computer shop here were I live has been using Sparkle power supplies exclusively since they opened in 1999 and last time I talked to the owner about power supplies he said that every time they put another brand PSU in one of there custom builds it always ends up coming back defective. He specifically mentioned Cooler Master and Thermal Take.

I prefer Corsair myself and have used 3 Corsair power supplies in computers of my own and never had a problem.

well, sparkle set a standard long time ago, not very high but decent for lower end machines. which probably makes up 80% of the sales anyway :)

I"ve had an Enermax Noisetaker EG701AX-VE SFMA 2.0" I love the Ps" I have tried them all but I keep on going back to enermax.I have had computers come in with OCZ Power supplies they seem to have a high fail rate.

Seven years for documents eh? I should hit up NCIX and get all my old receipts then :P Would hate to be the guy to send me about 100+ from over the last 5 or so years haha. Anyways, my first custom PC build was a game OCZ Stream 700watt I bought just cause the blue lighting it had in it. This rig I got going now has a corsair 750watt I believe or a 650watt, not to sure I'll check next time it's opened and take a note. But overall they both have been good to me so far.
