Anyone have the Hiper Type-M 580W PSU?
 

Just asking for personal experiences with this PSU.

I have it installed in my HTPC/SFF and it has been
great for the last month.

Silent and supplies efficient power for a
e6750, P5E-VM HDMI, 4GB of RAM, 8600GTS,
2x500GB SATA2 HDD, TV Tuner card and a Wireless-N card.


I've heard craptacular thinks about Hiper R series, so
I'm wondering if anyone could give me some insight as
to how the quality of the Type-M s are.

Expect a review of the Type-M 580W right here in a few weeks. Let's just say that the Type-M series are built far better than some of the Type-R series.

i hope because i was disapointed with my Type R pSU

Review was not too shabby.

The TypeM 580W supposedly supports Crossfire of power hungry x19xx series,
with its two 12V rails with ~20A on each, so I pretty satisfied with it.

Hopefully it doesn't crap out in the next year or so :p

I had a Type R for a while and had no issues with it at all. But then that was when I was upgrading every week it seemed and I think I only had it for a few months before I upgraded to an OCZ PowerStream.
