Installing psu

I have Antec three hundred case and Antec Basiq 550W power supply.
Can I install power supply upside down?
Thanks

if it 'fits' in the back there? sure...but im not convinced its made to be installed that way.

Do you mean you want the PSU to act as in exhaust instead of intake? I don't see why it shouldn't work..the rear fan will always remain as an exhaust, so I guess if you mount it upside down you'll be intaking from inside the case as opposed to outside normally. Correct me if I'm wrong!

the basiq has an horizontal fan that usually faces the cpu heatsink in a traditional top mounted .

if he places it upwards hell probably collect more warm air and squirt it outside..probably

You could but you're just going to be sucking in air that is blown around by the graphics cards unless you have one that blows air out of the case.

All power supplies if they have a fan are exhaust and never intake. If your power supply is blowing air into the case then its faulty.
