Default What PSU wattage do I need?

I will be running a 950-i7 on a P6x58d-e with over 9 fans (mostly for the RAD) running about 4.2 24/7?

650w is capable but not too many support two gpus natively (don't have the 6 pins), a 750w should be perfect. If you want to go big then silver rated seasonic or any rebranded seasonic such as the xfx 850w can be found for around $130.

12v rating....lets see

HIS Radeon HD 6970 2 GB Review - Page 27/33 | techPowerUp

250 watts for the sli pair, add 50-100 watts if uber clocking too

for the cpu board give it 200 watts

another 50 for drives nd fans

up to 500 watts 24/7 on the 12v, so as per above :)

If you're not on a tight budget, I suggest getting a modular power supply. Makes cable management a breeze.

Im not sure what the minimum power wattage is but I know my Corsair HX 750 was able to handle a similar setup as yours... i7 920 @ 4.4 ghz gtx 460 sli both overclocked... and a watercooling system with 6 fans...
