Well you can see it this way, the 1000W is good and it will give you plenty of headroom over time. Preventing the PSU to heat or to be maxed with upcoming upgrade. For a 10$ difference I wouldn't look at theneed. Like when I got my 850 my system was drawing around 300W. Anyway both are good PSU, just get the one you prefer ;)
