Enermax has always made very good units. The problem with Enermax products is that they tend to be considerably more expensive than the competition while not offering any real advantages. Although they are good products, you can almost always find something just as good from another manufacturer that is also sold for much less.

The HX750 should be sufficiently quiet inside an R3, though if you're worried about noise, just go for a Seasonic-made PSU instead. The Antec Truepower New 750W and XFX Black Edition 750W are two examples of excellent 750W units that are very quiet.

The Striders are good, but not as good as the other PSUs we're discussing here. They are also based on an older design.
