Default question 850 watt psu xfx!

Hello everyone! this is my first post in the forum, I'm from Argentina and sorry for my poor English , I wanted to ask a question to the community:

850watt psu xfx supports the following configuration:

i7-975
rampage 3 extreme
12 gb kingsnton hyperx to 2000MHz
3 x gtx 260 black edition (3 way sli).
5x500gb hard disk at 7200 rpm
2x60 gb ssd
12 cooler of 120mm

or will I have to change the psu?

hola dude, welcome aboard.

your gpus will pull around 400 watts max in normal gaming mode or 555w under extreme loads(furmark, usually not seen in normal gaming mode), add another couple hundred for the rest of the system. the psu can do 740w on the 12v, so you will be pretty fine.

what case do you have that takes 12 fans? :)

well, i cannot go against your dreams.

but tri-sli 260 is less practical than sli 460, which beat gtx 480 (except on insane resolutions)
