Anyway back to the research; I have discovered that most of these companies don't make what they sell at all. Check this out Who is the manufacturer of your PSU? and you will see who is actually making the stuff we hold dear and put our hard earned money into. I don't even want to check on the Video Cards. This PSU stuff is really interesting.

Half-decent list, but it is very incomplete. Here's a better one: http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=205763

That said, yeah... most PSUs are just rebrands of a select few PSU manufacturers, and it's important to do some kind of research prior to buying one. What's given TT a bad name in the PSU market is the wide range of quality that goes into their various models.
Hi sswilson,
No I didn't take the comments the wrong way. I appreciate the input for sure, I'm still learning. Guess I was pretty fortunate with my RMA.
Thanks,

A bit off topic, but I've got a bit of a soft spot for TT as my first WC experience was with one of their kits... I got great performance (for what I spent) out of that kit in spite of the negative comments from more experienced water cooling enthusiasts so I know all about hearing negative stuff about TT...

Here's a couple of pics of it in action.... :)

And a sig pic that was probably the last full kit I had running under that WC kit......

Nope, although I did actually own an MSI plat just prior to this one (bios update fried it). The fan and yellow PCIe slots should be the dead giveaway that it's a DFI ultra-d.... :)
