My System Specs

Default need sugestions on psu

Well I posted earlier this month on a psu but I am thinking of a psu with nothing under 700 watt and the quieter the better ( doesn't have to be totally silent though) because later I will be upgrading mother board to run 2 vid cards ( why I need 700+watt psu) but also my case is the aurora 570 so cable length is an issue for me any suggestions without being to expensive I have been looking around a different sights at different psu's but there isn't to much talk about cable lengths so I thought that I would ask here.

yes the PCP&C looks good. you could look at other PSU's in the cheaper area too since the PCP is at 180$ for 130 you can get a 750 CM real power and thats pretty much the cheapest you can get for the quality.

Corsair TX750 would be my choice, otherwise if you would like modularity, the HX620 is beatiful (more than enough to run 8800GTS SLI, 8800GT SLI, and 3870 CF)

Modular in the Aurora is almost mandatory.

I'm actually looking for another case cause I can't stand how the case is designed with lack of areas to hide wires.

I know it may be a little too much cash, but I have a Ultra 1000W X3 PSU, totally modular, got it for $225, and it is CRAZY good. Tons of power, silent as a fox. The cables are awesome too. For the best price, Corsair or Silverstone for me.

I'm going to go out on a limb here.

Gigabyte Odin Pro 800W. It is one of the most overlooked PSUs out there right now even though it is a great performer with a very good price

That is one of the reasons I got the HX620. It was the only way to get ultra's cables without buying an ultra.

I wish it was 100% modular though.

If Im not mistaken, doesnt the X3 come in lower wattages? I think I read somewhere that their line up extends (or will extend) from 600W to 1600W.
