Default How much power would you recommend?

I will be getting a second 8800GTX now, so I will need to change my PSU, sadly, as I just got it. Here's what we're powering:

EVGA 680i board, 4GB RAM, Xeon X3210 Quad at 3.2GHZ, two 8800GTX's SLI, Swiftech H20-220 Apex watercooling kit, 4 harddrives, a DVD drive, and numberour fans. I am eyeing the Silverstone Stryder 750W modular, it looks to be excellent. Is this more than enough power? Recommendations? I already tried the Antec TPQ 850W and it left a bad taste in my mouth, when it conflicted with my GTX.

My System Specs

Exclamation

High-end board, oc'ed Quad, 4 sticks, 4 HDDs, water-cooling, fans, fans, fans... I don't know much about PSUs, but personally I would it the 1KW mark with a set-up like yours.

edit: Ha! I did the calcs with the PSU calculator, using the info you gave (minus the CPU volts, which I guesstimated at 1.5V) and the result was 906W, with 90% load factor.

Only the superbly constructed Enermax Galaxy 1000 comes to mind in that region of power necessities.

Corsair. HX620 or TX750.

Both can easily handle SLI GTX and are 80% + efficient... and quiet.

CPU Volts are actually at 1.25.....it overclocks like a beast.... I know the 620 I have "should" be fine, but it's too close for comfort. Also, I want 4 PCIe cables coming out of the powersupply, don't want to have to use the molex to PCIe adapters, cause they look ugly.

1000W is pure overkill. I calculate that you will not be drawing over 650W at full load when gaming. IMO, the Corsair TX750 should be near the top of your list along with the DA850 and OP850. There is also the option of some of the new Zalman power supplies. Unfortunately, here in Canada I would resommend ANYTHING BUT an Enermax PSU.

The corsair seems like a good choice to me too so +1 there.

If I'm not mistaken the corsair is made by Seasonic whom make excellent psu's.
