Default Power supply placement help.

When I get my i5 setup i'll have to redo all of my cabling, Should I have the psu fan sucking air from the bottom the case or sucking air from the bottom with the fan down sucking air from the outside of the case? I'm planning on using all the fan slots, so if anyone's got an idea on the side panel fans and which way they should go, I'd like help there too.

Intake from the outside of the case wherever possible. PSU fan or sidepanel fan. Having an exhaust on the side panels only draws good cool air away from components that need it. In general, you should "shove" in as much cool air as possible into a case (for a positive pressure system) and let the exhaust fan/gpu exhaust use it and push out the warm air as needed.

Ah i see, I got into reading toms for some reason, and they absolutely hate bottom mounted psus. So that got me into thinking if it took in air from inside the case and sitll be bottom mounted it should be the best of both worlds right?(and easier to de-dust).

Depends on the case. Which one are you using?
I'd say its not worth pulling air away from your GPU in most cases, but the difference isn't so drastic that you'll regret the choice.

... has no filters anywhere. So whether it sucks from the bottom or from the "inside" (aka side panel) it's going to get dusty. That being the case, ill stick say that you should keep the psu intake on the bottom to draw cold air in, since i'll be damned if i've ever seen dust fight Gravity enough to settle Upwards into your psu.

Stick with the big boys if you're air cooling, can't beat the 230mm fans for performance + low noise IMO.
WCing.... asking someone else . lol
