Default Can the TX750 run 3 GTX 260?
Damn folding...now looking at getting another rig setup. Will the TX750 be able to run 3 GTX 260s? I know I might have to convert some molex into 6 pin pcie but since it is a single rail system, I won't have to do too much tinkering.

Not much else since it's just for folding. So maybe a dual core cpu, 1 hard drive, one dvd drive.

I would say yes then, the TDP is around 180w or so right? I know someone with a pair in SLI on a 620 watt yet he has at least 10 HDD's on it.

The folding rig I have (Q6600 folding 24/7, 1 HDD, 1 DVD, 9800GTX+ and a GTS 250) uses ~410w max. Folds 27/7 on a Corsair 550VX.

I would do it.

Haha yep...thats NF time We work an extra 3 hours a day to qualify for EI sooner...

Not a problem. I know someone who's running three 9800GX2s off a TX750, and those consume quite a bit more power than GTX260s do.

I've run 3 gtx 260's on my tx750 no problem (q9450 on a 780i). Folds like a charm
