Default Corsair or Seasonic???

I'm stuck between the Corsair VX550 and the Seasonic S12 650W. They are around the same price. Any suggestions. It'll be in the rig below with a 5850 in the future.

For the same price, go for the Seasonic, it offers 100W more which will mean there will be less stress on the PSU and more room for upgrades. Both brands are very reliable and you are not making a mistake with either.

Seasonic is a good brand and likes others have said, it'll give you a bit more headroom to prevent you from saturating or over saturating (running over your rated wattage) the psu.

Personally speaking, I'd vote for an Enermax.

But if only those too, although I would want a Corsair, Seasonic is a good OEM too so either way you'd be set. The less stress on the Seasonic would be good for longevity however.

ST

The Seasonic is the better PSU, hands down.
